My World of Animals: Extreme
Animals have evolved in countless ways to suit the environments in which they live in and survive and thrive within said environments. All adaptations serve a function to maintain an animal’s wellbeing. Some common examples are to avoid being eaten, to hunt, as a disguise, to protect territories, or to find a mate. These are all ‘basic functions’ to allow animals to live out their lives, but you, dear reader, would be surprised at the ingenuity and pure awesomeness of how animals have taken something as simple as something like feeding to new heights. I’m here to discuss some of them.
Welcome to My World of Animals: Extreme. In this web-series, I will explore the weirdest, most interesting and the most badass animals in the world. I will show you how the basic need to sustain an animal create endless variation of methods and bodily functions that I can only describe as superpowers. For now, reaching 30 animals will be good, as this is more of a ‘side project’ then a full-fledged published book.
